Puffins of Borgarfjörður Eystri

I’m certainly no wildlife photographer, but trying to capture these shockingly speedy little birds quickly became a game for me. Puffins are truly fascinating creatures, so here are some fun facts:

  • They mate for life
  • They can dive up to 200ft
  • They can fly at 55mph
  • They are adorably ungraceful, often “crash landing” into the bank
